Hello Sweeties!

I was very curious about this relatively new diner in the Regis Center in Katipunan called Sweet Ecstasy.  It specializes in the all American Food mostly burger, fries, onion rings, chicken and milkshakes. It was very late and I was tired from work and I wanted dine somewhere new.

I found the place very comfortable, simple and check out that sink made out of an old drum! Nice ‘no? It was an unassuming shop, the ambiance is simple and reminds me of a 50s diner, similar to Johnny Rockets, movie posters abound, comfortable booths. This branch is quite small.  The place can occupy around 40 people.

I ordered Onion Rings instead of fries coz I am that kind of girl. lol. Actually the fries seem a big heavy for me at the time since it was a bit late when I dined there.  I have to admit, the onion ring are huge and happily not very oily and ultra crunchy. You can order it  with dipping of cheese or ranch.

I really love the cheeseburger. I am a fan of good old fashioned burgers. My Mom used to make them while I was growing up, All beef hand-made patties with no extenders.  I was expecting a lot since Sweet Ecstasy promised they would have everything prepared fresh. I asked for caramelized onions with my cheeseburger. It was everything I hoped for. seasoned well, all beef with fresh veggies. If you are on a diet you can order the burger wrapped in lettuce instead for an additional fee.

Real milk shakes with actual fresh milk and ice cream. That is what it is all about. I love the Salted Caramel Milkshake they surged. It was really thick and did not skimp on milk or ice cream (yep no ice chips there)

The food is excellent, a bit pricy for a student or an ordinary employees’ budget but great place for a treat meal, with friends and family.  They also have a branch in Jupiter, Makati
