I rarely attend entertainment events but this one is different. Coz this young man over came so much to get to where he is.
Since he was launched as a singer last year, LA. Santos, dubbed as the “Singing Idol” at 17 years old he has done a lot the past few months. He has performed as the front act of international artists, like Patti Austin, The Stylistics and Air Supply.
Aside from his great voice he has the looks that got him noticed by ABS-CBN Star Music.

According to LA or Lnard Antonio “I’m so excited with the release of my debut album; Definitely, it feels very good po na making part ng Star Music and very excited po malaga ako kasi soon ilu-launch na yung first album ko na talagang pinaghirapan namin na maging maganda ang result. We will be launching end of this month po.”
For L.A., being a newbie in the industry, being part of an establish recording company is the best thing that could happen in any one’s career. ” I’m very blessed and thankful po dahil sa tiwalang binigay nila sa akin. Ganun din po sa mga taong sumusuporta po sa akin,” he added.

LA adds that he feels proud that they had such great trust in him, he is also happy that with this he has made his Mom Happy. LA was a hyper active child and his Mom had him do a lot of active sports activities to keep him focused. She is happy that it seems performing really suits him.
LA’s Album has 9 tracks on digital and CD, Some of the cuts included in the album are “Mine,”“Ms. Terror,”“One Greatest Love,”“Break-Up Day,” and other interesting love songs. Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man,” and Angeline Quinto’s “Hanggang Kailan” are also part of the collection with the accompaniment of a full-orchestra.

To make the album more special, L.A. also recorded the song “Forever is Not Enough” as a duet version with his younger sister, Kanishia Santos.

Jonathan Manalo, award winning song writer -producer of Star Muisc had this to say about LA “When he auditioned, we heard him in his style, he has tons of potential, we knew he will improve even more in the coming years. You saw how he did it live, he has great charisma and can really sing. You just have to wait perhaps next week when the album becomes available in physical and digital stores worldwide.”
Some of the talented composers who also contributed songs in the album are Garth Garcia and Garry Cruz.
For the meantime, L.A. will be one of the featured artists in the upcoming show “Killing Me Softly…with Your Love” He will also perform as special guest at the concert “Kings and Queens of OPM” on April 29, 2017 (Saturday, 8 P.M.), at Resorts World Manila.
