The Tannery Manila`s Hermoso Family have been crafting leather around the time of the Philippine – America War. They are the few established local artisans that time that still exist today.
Tannery Manila has been creating leather products for export to countries like Germany, Japan and Australia since 2007.
They slowly but surely introduced their brand of leather goods to the public through small exhibits, on-line selling, private sales. Their products were especially their high quality bags were an instant hit to leather lovers.

November 2014, due to insistent public demand they finally opened a physical store at the 2nd Level Tiendesitas, Pasig City.
As I walk around their physical store, I touch, I stare, I put my face close to their leather bags and take in the sweet scent of leather (which I love). It is indeed an experience being inside a store where local artisans create their magic. To be honest I own very few leather bags because they are pricy but I would not exchange the quality of a nice leather bag for a synthetic one that would last only a few months.
So I do love leather products for the quality.

This Cammie Red Crocodillo bag caught my fancy not just because of its color but also because of its size: 15″ L x 5″ W x 12.25″ H in. I am certain it can fit all my Mommy/Reporter/Blogger needs. It is actually a well padded laptop bag. It is pretty rare to see leather laptop bags designed for ladies these days but Tannery Manila acknowledges that women need to be fashionable in spite of the heavy work schedule.
