Hello Sweeties!
As a Mom that enjoys good food and I do like to explore a lot of food options for my family. When Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation, known for their excellent high quality food products sent me an invitation sent me to attend to their press conference to announce the launch of the newest product, Sarsaya Oyster Sauce, and celebrity endorser Mr. Coco Martin, Yes! it’s Primetime King, Ang Probiinsyano. I was very excited.
Sarsaya Oyster Sauce is concentrated from real oyster, complete with seasonings to promote a delicious blend of savory, sweet and salty taste to any dish.
According to Pen Alvina, Ajinomoto Category Manager for Menu Seasonings, “Sarsaya Oyster Sauce is a unique brand of oyster sauce that is created to suit Filipino taste and preference, making many Filipino dishes like ginseng kung kong and adobo more flavorful and delicious.
During the event, a live cooking demonstration and cook off wad facilitated by Chef Mcrhyan Rodrigo. Chef Mac cooked Filipino favorites Ginisarsayang Kangkong with Tokwa and his own recipe, Thai Style Stir Fried Chicken using Sarsaya Oyster Sauce too bad we didn’t get to try it.
Guests were also invited to participate in a cook-off, where they discovered the convenience of using Sarsaya Oyster Sauce to turn ordinary dishes extra special and flavorful.
The Ginisayang Kangkong prepared by Chef Mac was very flavorful, uniquely so because I can actually taste the oyster flavor! You know how you buy local oyster sauce and pray that it is not just thick soy sauce? You need the imported brand to get the actual oyster flavor. Well, Sarsaya Oyster Sauce is the affordable alternative! Finally!
Aside from being a big fan of his grandmother’s cooking, Coco graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Coco claimed, “kakaiba dahil lasagna oyster na oyster!” He loves how Sarsaya Oyster Sauce can add that delicious and authentic oyster flavor that truly enhances simple recipes.

Here are some of the suggested recipes from Chef Mac that would be perfect for the Saesaya Oyster Sauce.
The launch was a success! I plan on trying out the recipes above specially the Thai stir-fried chicken for my beasties.
