Dragon Foodie Review: Mario`s Restaurant Tomas Morato

Mario`s Way

Hello Sweeties!

I attended an event recently and I got to dine at Mario`s Tomas Morato again after a long time. I remember Mario`s fondly because the first time I ever dine there was during a good friend`s wedding.  After that I attended a lot of other events usually related to a launching by a government office or a medical event.

Mario's is a Spanish restaurant know for it`s great Sunday buffet. Please excuse me, I did not have time to take photos of the venue because it was filled to the brim with people and our party was in a private room.

Mario`s Tomas Morato Hearty Soup of the Day

Hearty Soup of the Day : Clam Soup

I really did not like the dirt aftertaste of this soup. So I was pretty bummed out when I tasted it. I expected a lot. This was a downer.

Mario`s Tomas Morato Pan Fried Fish Fillet with Mango and Cilantro Salsa

Pan Fried Fish Fillet with Mango and Cilantro Salsa

The main dish was the salvation! I really loved the Fish Fillet, it has a slight taste of butter but not overwhelmingly so. The potatoes were very creamy, the corn, tomatoes and beans were all fresh. I was very satisfied with this dish.

Mario`s Tomas Morato Tenderloin Tips with Red Wine

Tenderloin Trips with Red Wine

This dish was served with Fettuccine & Cream Pesto and grilled tomato. one of my friends had this dish and I also got to taste it.  I thought the pasta was tasted too much of cream, the meat a bit tough, I was so glad I decided to have the fish!

Mario`s Tomas Morato Dessert Ice Cream and Brownie

Chocolate Cake ala mode (Vanilla Ice Cream)

This dessert was ok, nothing spectacular but the standard Chocolate cake ala mode. Although I was sad that they served this dish and it was melting all over the plate.

Like I said, the place was buzzing and filled with people when I was there, but the servers were polite abet a bit slow maybe because of the sheer volume of the diners. If I would describe Mariio`s I would say it served comfort food for mature diners. I can tell there were a lot of regulars here dining with their families.  Tomas Mhratos has a lot of dining spots, but they still return to Mario`s so there must be something there.

I personally, would want to try another set meal but I would not go out of my way to dine her again.
