Hello Sweeties!
My family and I finally got a chance to go on a short vacation together. I know it is hard to believe when traveling is made simpler in the age of technology and mobile booking. To be honest, we needed to prioritize a lot of other more important things. A lot of my friends have been encouraging me to travel with my children while they were still young and willing to come along and not do their own thing. We decided on Baguio.
A trip to Baguio will not be complete without food. There were a lot of diners and food establishments in Baguio to choose from but the cab driver we spoke to recommended the Ketchup Food Community at Wright Park. It features local produce in their menu and has a great selection of concept restaurants to choose from. Canto was one of the most talked about. We were surprised as we ventured to Ketchup Food Community that there was a line all the way outside, it was for CANTO! We thought we would never get a chance to eat there, coz of the unbelievable crowd.
Guess what? There`s another branch of Canto, found a few streets away from Mines View Park.

Known for their soft and juicy Barbecue Lomo Ribs, Canto recently opened a separate store a few miles away from the Ketchup Community. And lucky for me and my family, we spotted it as we were walking back to our hotel from visiting Mines View Park.
I loved the Canto Salad. Although our Barbecue Lomo came with a salad, this was too good to pass up. When in Baguio one must fill up on salads since it is so cheap and fresh.
My son Jarod ordered this delicious Tuna Pizza for himself, yes he polished this double sized pizza on his own and he is not a Tuna fan. He loves that it is so crunchy and very cheesy.
This generous Nacho Plate was shared by my entire family. We love that that it was seasoned right and not at all spicy since the kids are not into spicy (just add a bit of hot sauce if you want), the cheese are not overwhelming.
This is one of the very best Lomo Ribs I have ever tasted. Falls of the bones, tangy, not too sweet with just the right salty spicy flavors. Best with a lot of rice or veggies!
Another Nacho plate but this has strawberries, cream and ice cream, My children did not want to share, so I had to order another one for myself and my hubsy.
Standard Rootbeer floats, my son wanted rootbeer float whenever we have steak or meat meals.
We were lucky to find this branch of Canto and it was not even crowded! We found really nice seats and linger a bit. A perfect place to hang out and have a quiet meal. I am sad that we found this branch of Canto on our last day in Baguio City. I wish I could have the chance to explore the entire menu. Definitely next time!
Until next time!
Muah!
