Don`t you just detest the strange change of weather we have been having the past few months? There are days where there is the bright warm sunshine then by mid afternoon sweltering heat and early evening heavy rains! The sudden change in temperature along with getting wet by a sudden down pour may lead to a bout of cough, cold or heaven forbid a flu!
I always make sure my beasties take their vitamins but whenever a cold or flu would strike it is best to be prepared.
This is one reason why I was so happy that P & G and Vicks sent these to my door. As a child of the 80s. My Mom`s medicine cabinet was always well stocked with Vicks VapoRub. I am sure at one point a parent, grandparent or guardian has applied or massaged this mentholated tropical ointment on your chest, back or throat, to unclogged noses to help us sleep better at night when we are feeling sick. Although memories of being ill is never good, I always remember the feeling of worry, concern, care and love of my own Mum whenever I see a jar of Vicks VapoRub and because of this I too always have a jar of it handy at home.
