Event: Help a Child go to School via Heroes Project

Heroes

Hello Sweeties!

A few weeks ago I got an invitation to attend an event launch for a worthy cause. It is called Heroes Unite.  A brain child of musician Mike Chan, along with other OPM artist, Heroes Project   their mission is to give deserving students the opportunity to get an education.

For just 10 pesos. Yep just a few coins that would cost you a snack, a bottle of soda or a ride on a PUV.  That same amount would send a young person to a quality school.

Want to know how to help out? Read on!

The Heroes Project started with just 20 scholarships, then increased to 40 in 2015. They hope that this year they could send at least 80 students to school. Eventually when everyone starts to help outing donate 10 pesos yearly or if you have the budget 10 pesos a month won`t be so bad right? They might be able to send more kids to school.

Their end game would be to give every Filipino student the opportunity to go to school. Education is the right of every Filipino child.  Their should be no excuse. Not lack of support from the government nor lack of personal funds. We as a people should help out, and it only takes 10 pesos a year. Remember, if only 2% of the Filipino people will donate, they will already have succeeded for this year and can look forward to sending more and more kids to school every year!
