Hello Sweeties!
Raffy and I attended a great VIP screaming of a nice family film called Mother`s Day that I know a lot of Mommies like me can relate to. For dinner, Raffy and I decided on something light since we already got great snacks from the movie and were still quiet full. We tried Cafe Breton, at the Podium.
We really liked that they had a ope air area, although we did not stay there because of the heat, it reminded me of the cafes in Europe when I was there. The lower floor area is small but cozy. We decided to dine there, a lot of people who came in opted to go to their 2nd floor.
Raffy was full since she had pasta and light snacks, I wanted to try out the something heavier.

Breton Mozzarella Burger (255php) comes with a side salad
This juicy all beef patty with sautéed onions, mushrooms and sticky mozzarella cheese. Raffy was happy with the mozzarella, it was as she visualized it would be pulling the sticky mozzarella as she bites into this burger. I found it very satisfying as well. Remind me of the homemade burgers my Mom used to make.
Breton Sundae (115php)
1 scoop of ice cream, whipped cream, drizzled with your choice of chocolate, strawberry or caramel syrup. you can also add walnuts for an additional 15php. Raffy wanted it plain and simple. Yep there are days you just hanker for something as classic as this.
Raisin in Rum Deacf (150php)
Cold espresso, raisin and rum topped with whipped cream. This is actually my favorite drink. Raffy was curious about the rum, coz it reminds her of pirates… lol. I ordered this in decaf so Raffy can also taste it. This drink is just perfect for hot summer days.
The service at Cafe Breton was excellent, the servers are attentive and friendly. Although you have to be careful when going down their 2nd floor stairs since it is slippery. When we was there almost two people fell from the narrow stairs. Also Raffy says the wifi in the area is really strong and she tweeted her friends and ran a video while we were dining there.
Cafe Breton has 11 branches in the metro.
